Surf and Beach Fishing Class
Experience two of the Outer Banks' most popular activities in one adventure. During this 3-hour Surfing and Fishing Class, you'll learn how to catch waves, catch fish, and better understand the ocean from lifelong Outer Banks waterman Quentin Turko. With over 20 years of local experience, Quentin will teach you the techniques, strategies, and knowledge needed to enjoy surfing and fishing successfully on your own.
Whether you're a complete beginner, an experienced angler looking to learn more about the local fishery, a surfer wanting to improve your wave selection and ocean awareness, or a family looking to share a unique Outer Banks experience together, this class is tailored to your skill level and goals. A 90 minute, 1 on 1 personalized lesson. The lesson will begin on the beach and cover basic safety, getting familiar with your equipment, how to handle your board, read the waves, paddle out, and how to “pop up” to surf. Then we spend the rest of the time out in the water surfing.
Surf Lessons
Private 2-3 Person Lesson
$105 Per Person
A 90 minute, private lesson with 1 instructor. The lesson will begin on the beach and cover basic safety, getting familiar with your equipment, how to handle your board, read the waves, paddle out, and how to “pop up” to surf. Then we spend the rest of the time out in the water surfing.
Private Group Lesson 4+ people
$90 Per Person
A 90 minute, private lesson with a minimum of 2 instructors. The lesson will begin on the beach and cover basic safety, getting familiar with your equipment, how to handle your board, read the waves, paddle out, and how to “pop up” to surf. Then we spend the rest of the time out in the water surfing.
